Route / Conditions:
Departure: Church of L’Ecluse, head north on Rue de Gaet
Shortly after leaving the church, turn left onto Rue de la Cabourse
Keep walking and after approximately 800m follow Rue de la Cabourse as it turns left and immediately right again
In the hamlet of Sclimpré, turn half right onto Rue du Rivage and just keep walking straight (across the intersection), this will take you to the big white Wahenges Abbey farm to your left.
In the field across the street from the farm, you will see the “Pagodes” art installation by Julos Beaucarne.
Shortly after the farm, turn left onto the forest track (this was the muddy bit) and walk through the forest
After leaving the forest, turn left to walk along the fields.
You eventually reach an intersection in La Tourette, continue straight ahead and the road will take you back to L’Ecluse
*There is one particular area (just after the Pagodes art installation) that can get extremely muddy, otherwise you are walking on well-kept rural paths
