Located east to the water sports club, Surfers' Paradise.
Always carry a dog waste bag with you, pick up after your four-legged friend and dispose of the waste in the appropriate waste bins. Infringements will be penalised.
The beach stretches from Surfers' Paradise all the way to the Dutch border.
At the Dutch border, you can walk along the Het Zwin Nature Reserve. There are some entrances where you can enter with your dog but they need to be on a leash.
Instead of walking on the beach you can opt for a paved footpath where you can take your bike and get to the Het Zwin Nature Reserve with your dog.

Dogs are allowed to walk off-leash and roam freely on the beach year round and all day long.
Along the beach there are some sand dunes.
When you reach the Dutch border from the Surfers' Paradise, you can turn right into the Het Zwin Nature Reserve. There are a few benches to rest on and sculpture, De Haas by Barry Flanagan, to view.
